A Delightful Family Getaway at FernsideOur family recently enjoyed a remarkable stay at Fernside, nestled in the scenic rural Devon. From the moment we arrived, the warmth and attentiveness of our hosts made us feel right at home. They offered invaluable recommendations for nearby dining options, ensuring our evenings were both enjoyable and stress-free. One of the highlights of our stay was the exquisite breakfast served in a sunlit dining room overlooking the gardens. My children eagerly anticipated this meal, which featured locally sourced ingredients and was far superior to any restaurant experience we've had. We made the most of our time exploring the beautiful surroundings, with Exmoor and Dartmoor National Parks just a short drive away. The stunning scenery provided ample opportunities for family walks, and we even tried our hand at fishing. On another day, we ventured to nearby Exmouth for some fun in the sun, where my kids loved the chance to surf.
